My latest paintings are done in Oil on streched canvas which goes round the sides of the picture. Normally 1/2 inch to 1 inch. This is painted to match the picture. No frame is needed! (although special frames in the standard sizes are available).
I was born in Derbyshire and now live on the east side of Leicestershire. I am self taught and have been painting for over 45 years.
I first became interested when my Grandad, an Artist, died and left me his oil paints. I still have some of them now!.
I paint mainly Landscapes, Seascapes and Old Buildings, mainly in Oil.
